Western New York Heritage would like to thank Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz and the Erie County Legislature, along with the Baird Foundation, Mary Ann Kresse and an anonymous donor, for their support of our latest special publication.  Erie County 1821-2021: A Bicentennial Profile features brief, individual profiles of each of Erie County’s towns, cities and Native territories.  Special “at a glance” sections provide readers with a quick reference to each community, while brief narratives and evocative images—many never before published—highlight the events, people and places that make each unique.

We also want to extend our sincere thanks to all of the community partners throughout the county, who contributed content for this 80-page, one-of-a-kind legacy publication.
